Vaishali who stills believes in love even after a failed relationship shares she never thought of having an arranged marriage but things happened, "We came in touch with each other in December last year and since five months we have been talking to each other. So we had decided once he will come to India we will directly get married as I am quite sure about him. I never thought of an arranged marriage for myself. Since I am hardcore believer of love but of course I had a failed relatonship. So during lockdown, my mom told me since you are done with your love affairs, why don't you get married now. I will create a profile of you on the matrimony and I very jokingly said yes please do but make sure I get an NRI then. My mother took it seriously although I was thinking that she would never agree to send me out of the country. But then Rishta started coming in and she started showing it to me. I was surprised but then I kept rejecting a lot of them and then she sent me Abinandhan's profile and that was the last profile she showed me saying that I know you are purposely rejecting guys. Love marriage was in my head but then I also had a past experience to consider. So I thought why not just listen to her. Then I saw Abhinandan's profile and I was like ok let me give it a try. But when I started talking to him he turned out to be quite like minded. We shared similar interests and we both were also like done with failed relationships in life. So, we were looking for best friends in our partners and that happened."

Talking about her marriage plans now, Vaishali says, "Abhinandan's family lives in Uganda whereas he is settled in Kenya. If everything falls in place we will get married in June or July this year at his parents place in Uganda. As we don't feel things are going to settle soon here looking at the ongoing conditions."
